Pairing with Vista Business on Lenovo Thinkpad T61 by L. B. PEOW
Two points to this review

Item 1 - Bluetooth pairing with Vista

There is an error in the HP installation guide that comes with the mouse. To successfully pair with Vista Business on my Lenovo Thinkpad T61, do NOT enter the passkey “0000″ during pairing. Instead, leave it as choice #4 - no passkey and it will works.

At first, I followed the included HP installation guide and entered the passkey. The mouse can pair, can connect but cannot move. After googling, searching HP suppport site, mogo support site, vista, lenovo and all the support site, I stumbled onto this requirement….silly me.

Item 2 - No scrolling

I noticed that many people says that this is a missing function. Actually, it may even be better than the Mogo Moust X54 as I heard the new scroll bar on that mouse does not react well. On the mogo mouse or the HP one, there is a FREE software made by a company called Pointix. Although this software has been abandon, Newton apparently er…picked it up and offer it free plus an activation crack. You can find it under scrolling software at Newton’s site.

With this software, your right button when depress allows you to scroll in 4 direction and when press once function as normal as a right-click. Wonderful software !!!

Well, the item works well, fits in my hand well. 5 stars!

Works great! Will considerable save me from toting along a mouse for working in other locations. During a recent presentation is also worked great as a remote tool for advancing the presention.

Clever, useful product with no negatives by HLE
This is the rebadged Mogo, which fits the standard PCMCIA slot. A satisfying product if you have that slot, integrated Bluetooth, and a dislike for the pencil eraser or touchpad. Battery life, connection reliability, “feel”, and solidity are all superb.

The free Pointix software enables excellent scrolling despite the lack of the center wheel.

If there were ten stars I’d give this elegant product all of them!

Best Travel Mouse by Daniel Head
